Hot Vietnamese coffee
To properly brew a Vietnamese coffee
・A drip filter called a 'phin'.
・Condensed milk.
・Around 15 grams of coarsely coffee.
・Hot water.
① Pour the milk into the cup. Place the drip filter on top of it.
② Place around 15 grams of coarsely coffee in the drip filter.
③ Put a slight pressure on the drip filter
④ Pour the hot water and steam it for about a minute.
⑤ Pour the hot water till it reaches the top of the drip filter.
⑥ Wait for the coffee to come out.
⑦ Take out the drip filter. Here you go.
※While coffee is being brewed, do not touch hot surfaces of drip filter.
Vietnamese iced Coffee
To properly brew a Vietnamese coffee
・ Filter
・ Condensed milk
・ Ground coffee beans
・ Hot water
・ Glass
・ Crashed ice
① Pour the milk into the glass. Place the filter on top of it.
② Place around 15 grams of coarsely coffee in the drip filter.
③ Put a light pressure on the drip filter.
④ Place the drip filter on top of the glass.
⑤ Pour the hot water and steam it for about a minute.
⑥ Pour the hot water till it reaches the top of the drip filter
⑦ Wait for the coffee to come out.
⑧ Take out the drip filter. Here you go.
※ While coffee is being brewed, do not touch hot surfaces of the drip filter.
⑨ Mix them till they're perfectly mixed.
It takes good experience to pack the right amount of coffee to create enough pressure so that the speed of coffee drop is not too quick, or too slow.
Time to pour the coffee in the cup. Don't rush, take your time.
